At 9:00 AM on November 19, the "City Science and Technology Conference / Science and Technology Award Conference" was held in the lecture hall of the Beijing Convention Center. Sponsored by the Academy of Military Medicine Chinese Academy of Military Sciences, Beijing Sungen Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Hotgen Biotech Co., Ltd., the project of "Construction of a transformation system for the industry-university-research application of new technologies for the detection of pathogens and study of pathogenic mechanisms of Important Infectious Diseases" has won the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award in 2023. The award is a recognization for the outstanding contributions of Sungen Biomedical project team in the field of scientific and technological innovation.
"Construction of a transformation system for the industry-university-research application of new technologies for the detection of pathogens and study of pathogenic mechanisms of Important Infectious Diseases" takes the lead in the world in applying a number of cutting-edge technologies such as electrochromatography and nanocapsule fluorescent probe, and successfully solves the technical problems of pathogen detection of important infectious diseases. For the "neck jam" technique, the project team developed fully automatic chemiluminescence, microfluidic and digital PCR detection systems with independent intellectual property rights, and established an international leading antibody preparation and pathogenic mechanism research system. For the first time in the world, the project has discovered the targets of SARS-COV-induced glucose and lipid Metabolism disorders, and the relevant research results have been published in international authoritative journals such as Nature Metabolism and Nature Communications.
Based on the research of the project, the team has obtained 8 invention patents and software Copyrights, more than 20 medical device registration certificates, and more than 100 international authoritative certifications such as EU CE and US FDA.
